The Bay Run is a 13.1 mile half marathon between Glengarriff and Bantry. The race will commence in the beautiful village of Glengarriff (An Gleann Garbh).Pre-Race facilities will be provided in the car park area of petrol station which is adjacent to the race start point. The West Cork Literary Festival is run by a very small dedicated Festival Team which also manages the West Cork Chamber Music Festival and Masters of Tradition. Due to underfunding and to allow for the smoothness and efficiency of running all 3 Festivals it was felt that a one week gap between the Chamber Music Festival and Literary Festival was necessary.
